3-Steps

Happy Wednesday, all! I hope everyone is having a great week so far. If you’re in need of some quick advice, here is my simple 3-step recipe to a good day.

1. Take a walk – I enjoy walking around the city whether I’m in Brooklyn or the upper side of Manhattan. I recommend picking a new area to go that day and exploring it; spontaneously walk into random restaurants and shops you’ve never been in before. I love exploring the city because there is pretty much an unlimited amount of places to can go and things to see. Keep in mind that you can be located anywhere to take on this simple task, whether that be the city, suburbs, countryside, or wherever else.

2. Grab coffee – Start your day off with a cup of coffee. I usually grab an iced coffee or tea at the nearest café. If you’re not a coffee person, no worries- you have other options. For a nice morning pick-me-up, I’d suggest going to Happy Bones (located on Broome Street) or Cha Cha Matcha (on Broome, as well) if you ever happen to be in SoHo. Happy Bones is a small, trendy spot with counter culture coffee/roasts and even donuts! Cha Cha Matcha, on the other hand, mainly has a menu specializing in matcha green tea goods.

3. Shop – This is personally my favorite thing to do. The city has the best stores to shop at, at any given neighborhood. My go-to areas are Fifth Avenue and of course, SoHo.
